There’s still time to make a difference

Equality Works Logo

This morning, the Anchorage Daily News reports that e-mails asking the mayor to veto AO 64 or outnumbering e-mails asking him not to by a 4-1 ratio.  http://www.adn.com/anti-discrimination/story/900681.html
If you have not have already written the mayor, I strongly urge you to do so today. If you have already written the mayor, I urge you to do so again. Mayor Sullivan needs to be encouraged to do the right thing even in the face of enormous pressure not to.

Please e-mail him and thank him in advance for his support of AO 64. Remember to be respectful. Name-calling and insults do not help our cause. I have been assured that mayor@muni.org is an appropriate address at which to reach the Mayor, but to be safe you might also want to cc: your message to one of his “Constituent Relations” representatives at dukejc@muni.org or holbrookm@muni.org.

And If You Haven’t Already….
Please take the time this weekend to let Sheila Selkregg, Jennifer Johnston, Elvi Gray-Jackson, Patrick Flynn, Matt Claman, Harriet Drummond, and Mike Gutierrez know how much we appreciate their commitment and support.

You can find their contact information at the link below:

Thank You,
Tiffany McClain
